I began the process of looking for a builder towards the start of 2021 when I secured my new block in Warragul. I was welcomed by sales consultant Jamie Power who was very accomodating in what I wanted to build and was knowledgeable when it came to the estate in which I was planning to build in. That expertise stood out from the other builders I had discussions with about potentially building on my block. I decided to go ahead with Simonds not long after those initial conversations plus other discussions I had had with friends who had also buil... I cannot rate our Simonds Gallery experience highly enough. From the moment we stepped foot in the Geelong office we were made to feel welcome and relaxed.

There is no financial or criminal background check performed on general contractors by the TDLR.

Several of the corners in the house have cracks, been repaired by Simmons with caulk, and cracked again. The tiled floors in our house are uneven; we submitted this to the warranty. They refused to even look at the others, saying we were too picky. There is 1 place that still has a ¼” difference from the adjacent tile. The header for the front porch is rotting and will soon need repaired. The concrete driveway has cracks extensive cracks that were caused by poor workmanship.
